Village Nursery School was established in 1971 with the philosophy and educational understanding that young children learn best in an atmosphere of purposeful and productive play experiences.  Through the activities planned, the selection of toys and materials, the organization of the space and the schedule, and meaningful conversations with children, we give them the foundation of learning they need to succeed through out their academic careers and beyond.  We want children to become independent, self confident, curious learners who work well with others.  Our program is intended at each age level to provide appropriate stimulation and growth in the areas of social/emotional, physical, cognitive, language, and creativity.  In an environment that feels safe and secure, every child has a chance to flourish.
