A
CHAIR FOR LUM JUBILEE is needed to plan, organize and manage
FUMC’s effort to host the 2008 LUM Jubilee scheduled for
Saturday, December 13th. We will again partner with St. Tom’s
Church, but FUMC will be the host church this year. Our church
family gives generously to this program. LUM Jubilee allows for
families recommended to us from LUM to “shop” for their
children, who otherwise may not have much, if anything , for
Christmas. These families also receive food donations for a
special Christmas meal. If you are interested in serving on or
co-chairing this important outreach to our community families in
need, please contact Mary Welch, 497-2006. Your service will
enrich our community, and your Christmas experience as well.
