You may schedule a baptism by making contact with either a pastor, or by calling the Church Office and speaking with Tab Baker, Administrative Assistant. Baptisms are performed during worship services. No classes are necessary before baptism at First United Methodist Church, but
Pastor Dan will meet with persons prior to the baptism. Please contact the Church Office to schedule a time with a pastor, if you wish to discuss the process in more detail. How do I schedule a wedding? As soon as a date is chosen contact

The pastors of First Church will meet with the couple 3-4 times prior to the wedding; so therefore, allow plenty of time when scheduling. Please see Tab Baker to pick up your wedding folder prior to the first meeting with pastor. How do I join a musical group? First Church offers a variety of adult, children’s, and youth choirs, ensembles, bell choirs and groups that provide music for services and special events. Please contact

You may obtain a current listing of your giving by calling the Financial Secretary, at 743-1285. Financial statements are mailed out bi-monthly. How do I have a prayer request listed? If you have a prayer concern or joy you wish to have listed in the bulletin or newsletter, please fill out a prayer request card located in pew racks and place in the offering plate on Sunday morning, or call the Church Office.

First United Methodist Church is a very busy place and space is in demand. Rooms must be reserved in advance, as well as tables or displays in the Narthex on Sunday mornings. Contact

How do I get involved in a ministry or volunteer my services and time? There are many ways to get involved at First Church. Fill out a card located in the pew rack requesting information, or indicating your interest in wanting to become involved, and then place it in the offering plate, or fill out our time and talent inventory sheet located on the information kiosk in the Narthex. You can also express your interest by calling the Church Office.
