December 8: Warm Heart!
LUM Shopping (11 am—1 pm)
We will be storming the shelves and throwing items into the carts for LUM Jubilee Christmas.
Helping with Kids (1 - 5 pm)
Anyone who can stay and help kids make cookies and candy will get pizza for their service!

Sunday the 9th Caroling. Stay after second service for an 11:30 am lunch followed by a caroling expedition with the Senior High Youth. Come share the advent spirit with the elderly members of our church! Back to the church by 2 pm.

The first half of this year has flown by way too fast. So I will get right to what I want to say : Welcome to Advent! December is here and it’s time to prepare our spirits for Christmas! After a busy November of raking and talking about Saints — it’s time to start thinking about the manger and what it means to us as Christians!

For those of you who missed Winterization we helped 5 houses and bagged many leaves. Thank you to all who helped but I must give an extra special thank you to Miki, Bob and Alessandria who helped out at both. In case you missed it the second time was much longer than the first time. We had a pile of leaves in the front of the yard that was as tall as me! I know everyone had a great time jumping in the piles and I hope next year we will have an even bigger group come join us!
Also, a thank you to the parents who helped drive must go out as well! Thanks so much for your support!

I want to give everyone a heads up of what is to come in the new year. The youth can look forward to Ice Skating, The Bishop’s Confirmation Rally, and of course the Lock In. Keep your eyes out for future newsletters that will have more information on these events.
But December is not to be overlooked, with LUM shopping, helping church kids, caroling, Christmas Party, and Christmas Eve services!
