Growing in God's Word — Collegiate

Growing in God's Word— Children
Sunday School (age 2-6th grade) meets 9:45-10:45 a.m. using Cokesbury’s “Rock Solid: Building a Heart of Faith” curriculum.
Worship Express children are dismissed after the children’s time at the 11 a.m. service to attend their own worship service. Children’s choirs often sing at one or both services.
Mid-Kids Ministry (grades 5-6) provides Sunday school at 9:45 a.m., activities throughout the year and a program on Wednesday night that offers some time for homework or reading, followed by a Bible lesson with games, crafts or other activities. All are in Room 210.

Growing in God's Word — Youth
Junior High Youth Group (grades 7-8) offers fellowship, Bible study, service, and worship in an atmosphere that encourages growth and exploration in faith. The youth meet at 9:39 a.m. Sundays starting in the Senior High Room (203) with Collision Youth Worship and then go to the Junior High Room (208). All youth meet also from 5:15 pm - 8 p.m. Wednesdays. Monthly fellowship and service opportunities are planned along with special summer events. Many also take part in a two-year confirmation process that includes an overnight retreat, a mission/service trip each year, attendance at worship service, and field trips to other places of worship. The group is led by Pastor Glen Robyne and junior high youth coordinator Erin Losey in partnership with excellent youth counselors.
Senior High Youth Group (grades 9-12) is a relational group open to diverse participation that helps each member grow spiritually. Special fellowship events include lock-ins, game nights, concerts and sporting events. Our emphasis on missions include local service projects, mission trips to other states, and raising support and awareness of missions in the world. The group gathers 9:39 a.m. Sundays in Room 203 for Youth Collision Worship followed by an interactive lesson. A group of students and counselors then attend worship together at 11 a. m. The youth also meet 5:15 pm to 8 pm Wednesdays. Pastor Glen and Mae Christiansen (senior high coordinator) lead the group in partnership with excellent counselors and the leadership of youth on the youth council. The Youth Parent Council plays an important supportive role.
