The Way — The Final Steps of the Journey
Throughout Lent we have been walking “The Way,” inspired by the ancient pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago—a sacred journey traveled by seekers for more than a thousand years.
Pilgrims on the Camino say the final days of the journey are the most meaningful. The road narrows, the destination comes into view, and every step carries deeper reflection, gratitude, and hope.
Holy Week is the final leg of our spiritual pilgrimage.
Together we will walk the path Jesus traveled—from celebration, to table, to sacrifice, and finally to resurrection. Along the way we remember that this journey is not meant to be walked alone. Pilgrims share the road, share the table, and share the hope that waits on the other side of the journey.
We invite you to walk these sacred steps with us.
Palm Sunday
“The Other Way”
Sunday, March 29
9:00 AM — First Up Worship (Sanctuary)
11:00 AM — Celebrate Worship (Sanctuary)
Jesus enters Jerusalem not with power and conquest, but with humility and peace. Palm Sunday invites us to consider the surprising and counter-cultural way Jesus chooses—a way that challenges our assumptions about power, victory, and faithfulness.
Maundy Thursday
“We’ve Been Expecting You”
Camino Open Table Meal
Thursday, April 2 — 6:30 PM
Activity Center
Pilgrims on the Camino often end the day gathered around long tables with strangers who quickly become companions. In that same spirit, we gather for a simple shared meal remembering the Last Supper.
All are welcome at this table.
Just as pilgrims greet each other with hospitality along the road, we extend that same welcome:
“We’ve been expecting you.”
Good Friday
“The Loving Way”
Friday, April 3 — 7:00 PM
Sanctuary
On this solemn evening we remember the depth of Christ’s love revealed through sacrifice. Good Friday invites us to reflect on the mystery of a love that refuses to turn away from suffering—and the courage it takes to walk the way of compassion even in the darkest hours.
Easter Sunday
“Make Your Way”
Sunday, April 5
7:30 AM — Sunrise Service
Outdoor Columbarium
9:30 AM — Easter Brunch & Easter Egg Hunt for Children
Activity Center
11:00 AM — Easter Worship Celebration
Sanctuary
Just as pilgrims finally arrive at the cathedral in Santiago with joy and celebration, Easter morning proclaims that the journey leads not to death but to life.
The stone is rolled away.
Hope rises.
New life begins.
Come celebrate resurrection with us.
No matter where you are on your journey—questioning, searching, grieving, hoping—there is a place for you here.
Let us walk The Way together this Holy Week.
