Preparing for Tomorrow Today
By its design, the Foundation provides funding for projects and activities in each of several ministry areas of the church, which the Foundation identifies as Ministry Enhancement Accounts.
The Foundation accepts gifts, bequests, legacies, and donations, which are added to endowment funds. The capital accumulates as new assets are received and through careful investing for the long term. Projects approved by the board are funded with the income from these investments.

The First United Methodist Church Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that was established January 26, 1982. It supports the mission of the church and its programs in perpetuity.
2026 Annual Meeting & Proposed Bylaws
The Annual Meeting of First United Methodist Church Foundation, Inc. will take place in conjunction with the Consecration Sunday celebration and meal on October 18, 2026, following the 11:00 AM worship service in the Activities Center.
Foundation members will vote on amendments to the Foundation Bylaws at this meeting. Consistent with current bylaws requirements, this notification is given at least 10 days prior to the meeting.
