Our 2023 Youth Confirmation Class will be done a little different this year. It will be led by Pastor Duane and will have two parts. The first part will be a joint learning experience with the whole church using the study Creed: What Christians Believe and Why. This study will begin on the first Sunday of Lent and go through the six Sunday during Lent (February 26 to April 2.) Confirmands will use their own youth study guide. The second part will use a curriculum created by Pastor Duane called On Our Way. It will begin on the second Sunday of Easter and continue through the Sundays of Eastertide season (April 16 to May 21). The confirmation journey will end with a celebration and welcoming of the confirmands on Pentecost Sunday (May 28).
The learning experience will include time with the all-ages group during the Sunday School hour (10:00 AM – 10:50 AM.) Then they will follow up with a time of youth only conversation shared with the family ministry team leaders during the 11:00 AM worship service hour.
