This four session class series begins Wednesday, August 31 at 7 pm at First Church in Room 211. At the January 6 insurrection last year, there was a mix of participating organizations. First UMC members converted Covid-19 relief stimulus checks into a hunger response for families struggling with food insecurity during the pandemic. Church members came together to use portions of their relief funds to pay for a Food Finders Food Truck to provide food staples to West Lafayette Families.
